If you are going for Tunare and looking cool, consider half elf. Better stats + tunare + cool armor look.

I actually just made a high elf pally and put everything into STA, although Danth's post makes me think twice about it.
However, the main contributing factor for me was that high-strength items tend to be both cheap and quite common. I bought a hero bracer and crested helm for my pally and that's already decent strength right there for 500pp. Whatever you do, don't put anything into agility! lol | ||

If you want to go high elf for lore / culture's sake you should go Half Elf Tunarian paladin and be real unique
You can wear imbued koada'dal and start in felwithe AND be a half elf pally. edit: just read pallius's post. he knows what's up.
