Awesome job, CCS!

If you ever want to expand on your site, you could also add stat conversions for classes, such as STA to HP, WIS and INT to MANA.

Really well done though.

I would also be interested to see level 60 templates with some typical hp/mana such as 60 shaman template 2000hp/1900mana and when you change the starting stats it shows how much your lvl 60 changes.

Once that is done I'm sure you could implement level 20 and 40 templates to give an idea of progression.

I don't know JS but I'd be willing to learn and help create it.

edit01
Those HP figures are actually prob too high, should prob use a naked model as an example. So for 60 barb shm maybe more like
1200hp / 1500mana? Donno, you'd basically just have to get one of each 60 class/race to get naked and SS you their stat window, once that was collected it would be trivial.

definitely. would also be interesting to see base hp/mana/ac/atk as a function of str, sta, wis/int, agi for all classes, races, and levels.

but this is getting way ahead. what you have is very cool and useful. great work!

I am confused as to the functionality, this just tells you where you can allocate points?

Does it do anything beyond that?

I agree, the use would be great if you had a stat conversion to Mana or HP or Dmg output (if thats possible). So that you could mess with your stats and see the increase that various items would give you

I wanted this to exist, but it didn't, so I forced myself to learn javascript, and... here it is:

--STAT CALCULATOR--

In the future I may modify what the recommended (green) stats are, so they more accurately reflect what classes need.
The domain was a bit spendy, so if you're a real fan you can show some love at the bottom. Enjoy! Feedback appreciated.
Using CTRL-Click allows me to go into the negative on allocated points.

Also I'm not sure what the point is? It's not obvious how to see for example how much base mana/hp you'd have at 50 or something

I'm thinking its a Theoryquest tool you can use, creating multiple chars side by side to help determine a class/race combo. Its a complex spreadsheet.

Anyway I think it serves as an excellent launching point for further applications, but I'm not the author, so these are merely speculations.

This pretty well exists already. You can create a bogus character here, fill out your stats & level, and then "preview post" to see what you're looking for. Don't save fake characters though [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
