![]() Ya i dont get it. i Pras'd the first video, it was so weird. A+ really. I didn't think the second one was funny but it didnt bother me. Third one was just bad taste. I pvp red dawn and nilly, I also have friends in both. To say I was offended because of who put it out kinda shows you are way to involved in an elf sim. It aint that serious for me.

![]() Who said it was voluntary? School is not voluntary, it's required. Every child there is required, by their parents, and probably the government to attend school. They're also required to learn how to read. One way to learn how to read is to write things on a chalk board and have everyone read it letter-by-letter, word-by-word. If the fact that they earn money for school supplies by reading names of video game characters in addition to what they normally read is bad taste, then that is your personal opinion. I'm sorry to say that if you walk into any school in India and offer them a $5 donation to read words from a chalk board that are neither profane nor inappropriate, nobody will mind. Most schools / teachers / parents will appreciate the donation. Most people there don't make enough to buy supplies on their own, so any little bit helps.
Where's your donation?

![]() Donation or purchase? Generally donations are a one way exchange. You paid some children for services, you did not donate.

I think there's nothing wrong with teaching your children how to earn money at a young age. Whether it be through a lemonade stand, fundraisers through school, or learning to read while accepting donations. From a young age, they can learn to be responsible and learn how people in a free society must work to earn a living. Nothing is given to us for free (Obama might disagree). I was always taught to work hard even when I was a kid. I had to do those school fundraisers, and for me, it was not voluntary. They required us to do it. I hated it. And I didn't get any of the money. I don't consider that to be exploitation, but I do believe it helps us grow into hard workers. You can disagree -- everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think the real issues here is that Heartbrand didn't like being in the video. Everyone else in the video sent me a private message (including Sektors, Colgate, etc.) and found it funny. They were actually amused that they made the cut. I guess some people just can't take a joke. Have a great day [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
