I have a lvl 20 Cleric on Albion. Made it because I thought I would need to group to exp. Saw exploits and quit. Thinking about playing again. Is exp still sort of fast or is it real slow now? Is there a good Albion guild to join?

That isn't true.

Most of the people online when they took the strength relics were people lfg 1-40.

I expected it to be /who and everyone 50. It's quite literally not the case.

As far as coming new to the game? You come on down to Hib and Uncle Nirgon will straighten you up/learn u good.

Cwall played maybe a week or two in live and came here... he's firing on all cylinders now doing bgs/lvling.

Like the xp thing? It didn't rape the server like I would have thought from reading. Most of it is from butt hurt people who couldn't register due to overwhelming demand spewing the mads because they couldn't get max level fast. I personally enjoyed coming up and doing the lower level battlegrounds rather than skipping all of that content.

game really hard to get used to compared to EQ, stuff like the built in /stick and /face seems dumb at first, but really starting to make sense and the game feels just as robust as everquest, but in a different way

There have been a couple people that have joined p1999 that have never played EQ before and decided to give it a go. Soda is an example of this. I refuse to be a Soda on DAoC. No way it is worth it to learn a game that old when people already got to max level in a day by manipulating game flaws.

2) is better geared than you
3) has more kills than you
4) is having fun
5) has never payed a dollar to play this game, even 15 years ago when there was a subscription fee?

Soda getting kills, having great gear and not being a spaz on this server. I just said I don't want to be a beginner on a 15 year old game, don't be so upset buddy. It isn't a mystery that people have to constantly hold her hand and it was an annoyance to have her around. I just said I wouldn't want to deal with that on DAOC. If anything I'm saying the things Soda struggles with is inevitable when thrown into that type of situation and it is one of few comments directed towards Soda on here that shouldn't be upsetting you so much.

plus she absolutely has more kills than you, that one is easily confirmable
