Default ISO Honest opinion to my question, from a bluebie

Hello gents, Like i said looking for an honest opinion i know ill get some opinions on stuff im not asking about but so be it.

So last night couple of us came over form blue to try out EQ PVP for the first time in 14 years. That being said, Ive always only wanted to be 2 classes, Mage or paladin. I Realllly want to be a paladin for a pvp server, but with the population so low I am very worried ill never be able to get past level 10 as paladins are probably the worst solo'ers in the game. On the other hand magicians are amazing solo'ers and groups wouldnt be an issue.

So my question is, is it within reason possible to level up as a paladin which i would love to be on red if im not with RL friends at all times? Or is this just not really gonna happen.

Thanks
-Taledar

its reasonable but you'll need to be patient and determined. not like paladins cant solo undead and chances are you'll be able to find xp partners

you will find that a paladin is quite formidable for PVP.

i would do both..

make the mage first. play your paladin when the opportunity presents itself: when you have a group, power level, etc

i would focus on the mage first, a lot easier to level and u can twink your paladin with it...

also leveling up the mage will become boring at times, take a break when that happens to work on your paladin

find ways to not get burned out and keep your interest, that will be key on this emu.
