It's much more competitive now, but let's be real. Raid force Nihi is bringing on these past few weeks is better geared and much larger than what Az can bring.

This being said, unlike blue you can snipe dragons and still kill each other so Red is superior.

52v48 is pretty even, numbers aren't coming into play. Definitely not "much larger". I'd agree better geared on average, but it's not like every one of us is full VP gear. Not like that even makes you that much better anyway.

Just for the fun of it lets compare the best non VP easily obtainable loot to VP BiS items for a warrior (int/wis/mp stats left out cause they dont matter for a war):

VP loots = 63 AC, 36 STR, 16 AGI, 8 DEX, 8 STA, 8 CHA, 275 HP, 40 SVM, 25 SVF, 30 SVC, 50 SVP, 15 SVD, 41% haste.

Non VP loots = 82 AC, 12 STR, 19 AGI, 29 DEX, 12 STA, 20 CHA, 130 HP, 30 SVM, 25 SVF, 0 SVC/SVP/SVD, 36% haste.

So VP loot is -19 AC, +24 STR, -3 AGI, -21 DEX, -4 STA, -12 CHA, 145 HP, 10 SVM, 0 SVF, 30 SVC, 50 SVP, 15 SVD, 5% haste.

Better? Sure. Enough to make a player godlike - not even close.
