Idk where to even start, Azure. There's a lot of misinformation there.

Seriously doubt plant estrogens are going to do anything beneficial for you besides (maaaaybe) lowering your testosterone levels, which is uhm actually. not a good thing if you're already tired. And in what sense are you physiologically female

There is no clear science, but: You have lots of articles like these:

Eleuthero does not contain ginsenosides, the compounds found in Asian and American ginseng that are thought to be linked to the plants’ medicinal effects. Eleuthero contains other compounds, called eleutherosides, some of which may act like estrogen or other steroid hormones.

Because I was always resistant to the testosterone my body produced. And some people interact with their sex hormones differently.

As it was described to me (as I remember) I had a genetic chromosomal disorder. I went the the University of South Florida to have my blood and genes tested. The end result was just a doctor telling me I was different then the rest of the kids and that my parents could have my boobs chopped off.

I don't remember the specific name of the disorder that the Doctor we consulted with was [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

TBH it's probably not worth remembering. HRT is HRT, and I am just speculating that it'll probably be a positive experience. Normal reasons notwithstanding.

I'm pretty sure that Dr. either didn't actually tell you that and you misunderstood, or he was just telling you what you wanted to hear. Either way, that would be classified as an autoimmune disease if I'm not totally mistaken. I really hope that any Dr. worth his salt wouldn't suggest that a patient who has an autoimmune disease would actually help its body to escalate the condition. By the way, in case you didn't know, women's bodies produce testosterone also,so if your body had an aversion to that hormone, being a woman would do nothing to help that.
More than likely your body was actually not producing enough testosterone, or too much estrogen. Most likely your issues could have been prevented with diet and exercise. Sorry, you're free to do whatever you want with your life. I'm not saying you shouldn't go full granny if that's what you're really wanting. But to try to use a pseudoscientific medical excuse to reason that your body which was developed in your mothers womb as a male really wanted to you to be female, just sounds like a weak justification to me.

It's not any kind of justification, It is just something curious and quirky about me. By all means not even enough for me to justify anything myself.

There isn't enough science on the matter of hormones and gender to call it psuedoscientific cause I doubt there's many people who are experts on the issue. Most all we have to go by is anecdotal anyway. Medicine even good western medicine isn't even 100% scientific either.

And no it is not autoimmune and, and no i didn't hear what I wanted to hear.

I don't appreciate being attacked because of a hypothesis I have.

It's lupus. Or maybe autoimmune makes absolutely no sense. The words chromosome disorder together with gynecomastia,
make me think Klinefelter syndrome (XXY) though.

I spent some time researching it trying to figure it out based on my remembrance, my best guess is I have a very large Y chromosome, or 'broken' Y chromosome. From my recollection. It's not a common issue. And most people live their lives without any complications or need for medical treatment. And I could as well. TBH I don't have to have anything fixed in order to simply survive. Just in order to live a fulfilling life worth living.

My psychological condition is probably not related to the issue. If anything it was only causal in that my developmental delays caused some of the abuse and self worth issues early in my childhood that contributed to my rejection of my male body.

Why do you say it's autoimmune? Because from what the doctor told me my body produced it fine, my body just didn't uptake testosterone, due either to other hormones or something else. Or it got absorbed quickly out of my blood.

TBH he wasn't sure either, but we didn't have the time or money, (nor did my dad care much) to take me back for further study. So I was left on my own at that point to cope with it.

Lron has a collection he keeps in formaldehyde jars. That's why he asks. He sits and stares at them and daydreams of growing one of his own someday.
