I think a well played cleric is the best all around pvp class in group / mass pvp settings. They can single handedly turn the tides of battle.

Chanter bard wizard in that order

Solo outside Bard or wizard, depending on if it is a quick gank situation or you have time

Solo in tight quarters rogue for quick kill or monk for good dps and survivability around mobs with FD

Group pvp everyone is good, cleric stands out to me.

If you want to get away in PvP when not in big guild vs guild situations: cleric, classes with gate and yonder/shadowstep, or classes that can run fast (druid/shaman with cheetah or bard).
