Start photoshopping harassment tells to get players banned

We are very serious about this. The harassment aimed towards former Nihilum members needs to stop. We're getting far too many petitions about people getting sent hate tells - even brand new members who have just started on the server recently.

You're driving players off the server based simply on a guild tag. This isn't your box. Everyone is allowed to be here. If I see any more of these I'll start handing out suspensions. If you are being harassed like this please take a screenshot and send it into the petition forum, then add that player to ignore. I'll let Eunomia and Aussie know they can start handing out suspensions for excessive harassment on Red.

If you were in Nihilum before you may want to consider getting together with your former guildies and making a new guild. If there's any interest in this, /petition in game.

I swear Amelinda made this same post 2-3 years ago. Do these people not realize how easy it is to log on another server and spoof /tells or just photoshop this "harassment"? It took you 3 fucking years to ban Nizzar, now you're going to suspend people based on something as easy to spoof as a screenshot?

No, player chat isn't recorded. I'm sure they wish it were, but it's not. That's why /log hasn't worked since p99's inception.

Also, Derubael you clearly state in your post to take a screenshot and post it in the petition forum. Unless you're going to wait until multiple petitions are made for a single player, which with any coordination between former guildies would be just as easy to spoof, what other proof are you going to be basing these suspensions on?

Otherwise it looks like a plain as day serverwide threat like Amelinda used to do. I recall multiple times being in tells with her and then suddenly she would use serverwide GM messages to tell people not to do X or Y, then send me a tell saying no one is doing anything wrong but she wants to keep people scared.

Anyway, it's preposterous that you would even consider using screenshots as proof of anything in 2014. Streaming video? Sure, but screenshots come on mannnnn.

2 boxing another server, taking a screenshot and sending it in to suspend someone for a week is about as efficient as you can get for screwing over someone on this game. Way better than a yellow text.
