![]() Some or most players complain of Luclin character models (aesthetics, etc . ), not being true to classic. Developers (we all love you [You must be logged in to view images. That's not classic.
Better to keep it true to classic as possible, and remove item linking, regardless of making people happy, or do we keep it due to its effectiveness, though not classic. And if we keep it, because it functions well within the game society and economics and efficiency, why not just remove hybrid experience penalties ASAP (before Velious) as well, since that also ruins group social dynamics as well as experience efficiency (for the most part - min-max munchkins). Thoughts?

![]() Linking is a client issue, if it was easy as flipping a switch it would already be gone.

![]() It's part of the titanium client that can't be removed.
It's the same reason there the EQ menu button, the window bar, windowed mode/fullscreen, titanium era options screen, map functionality, etc.

However, the hybrid penalties will go eventually (not on Velious opening night by the way, but further along in the timeline)...so its in a patch to come. If we start cherry picking from future patches we'll have all kinds of custom stuff going on that isn't classic for where we are in the timeline at the moment. Keep it as classic as possible, I say [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

![]() What about incoming /tells working when you are zoning? That wasn't classic. I don't think it even worked on p99 for the first six months or so until they added it in.
As much as I like them tells working as I zone, it was most certainly a real classic feel thing to be in the custom of saying to someone "zoning" if you were chatting.
