If you want to know the worst player on Red just look at the deaths. It has been proven that kills are easy to come by when ganking. EQ is about preparation and knowing how to survive when someone has the upper hand on you. The weak links find themselves unprepared and overwhelmed by good players the most.

Go to leaderboards and find the guy you recognize with the most deaths. Easy.

nothing to flame it's just bad logic. if rag had 5 kills and 200 deaths sure, but he has a much better ratio then some others in this thread. if you pvp as much as he does you are going to die more than others.

In arena style game ratio is more relevant. On Everquest if you are a level 60 melee that doesn't do much PvE that means you are the predator and shouldn't be dieing that much. You shouldn't be caught off guard as a level 60 when you are the one roaming around looking for kills. You can look at many examples of this from players with large kill counts but minimal deaths.

Maybe Rag has a good internet connection and is good at clicking auto attack at the right time as he claims but the majority of EQ is preparation and decision making. 200+ deaths just within this last season means this dude is dieing every time he logs in. He obviously isn't that smart and shouldn't be judging others at this game.

That might be true but he always fights with a pre-made pvp team. Not trying to take away from his kills, guy knows what he is doing. But he chooses his fights based on if he can win or not. I guess this means he's good... K/D ratio only says so much about a person and cannot be used as the holy grail of who is good. The ratio doesn't show plugging, using gate pots, getting evac exct exct... K/D ratio also doesn't show if the fight was even or if one side had an advantage. In fact sometimes K/D ratio only shows that someone has burst damage.

Anyway to stay on topic, the whole who is the worst or who is the best should come down to more factors.. like in game raging, poor awareness, miss use of class mechanics

BTW - i don't think i'm the worst on the server but i also know i'm far from the best.

he fights when he shouldn't lots of times but i guess he doesn't care too much about the YT. he's far from the worst on the server though and suggesting because he's died the most he is the worst is laughable.

Just depends on your definition of the best. Wouldn't want him making decisions so as long as he has someone telling him exactly what he should be doing he would probably be useful. Dieing that much in EQ as a 60 that just pvps is really pathetic though. I understand k/d isn't the end all but with that many deaths he isn't even in the discussion as a top player.

The fact that he talks about himself being good all the time shows he actually does care so pretending he doesn't care about deaths is flat out wrong.
