Couple questions.
I am new and currently installing EQ as I type this but: Is Kerra Isle first or second version? (I am hoping it's second) What does it mean Nektulos file needs to be modified? I didn't see that in the startup guide and am planning on making an inky. Edit: Oh is this just the eqchanges.zip? | ||

Follow the necessary steps found here to set up the game correctly (it should have the correct Nektulos files). If you want to use the in-game map it is still available in the newb zones. Unless you replace the current map file with the one found here your Nektulos map won't be the correct one for classic (I don't know if it's included in the new .zip file). As far as Kerra Isle, I don't know.

 it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable. | ||
