Second server to kill the sleeper?

So let's just assume the sleeper will be woken for a second, which of course we undoubtedly know will happen at some point...

I can't be the only one thinking surely we should unite and actually put in a proper attempt to kill him?

Perhaps be the first emulated server in history to kill the sleeper??

He only got killed the first time because NPC regen was bugged.

I'm not sure about this but I remember reading a quoted post from a lead GM saying they stopped the first encounter because of a suspicion that a bug was causing the sleeper to go for a certain NPC rather than PCs

Anyway it'd be worth a shot, a ton for of fun, and more chance for people to experience something most didn't

On September 10, 2007, Rashere confirmed on the official Everquest forums that Kerafyrm was bugged at the time of his kill.[2]

I can confirm the sleeper's regen one. Whether by pure coincidence or great planning, the zek attack on
the Sleeper took place after a patch that broke NPC regen, causing them to regen at a far lower rate than
they would normally. The sleeper's normal regen makes him essentially unkillable.

Bugged regen lvl 65 and a year of farming PoP gear were needed for the first sleeper kill. Lol @ killing him without the bug in velious era.

There is one heck of a lot of people on here that have some pretty killer gear and Epics right now. Add 3, 4 months into Velious living in Kael etc. and I would not be surprised a TMO all out raid with help can do it.

But you stated the "second server" so I have no clue what will happen in it? I really don't think it will be as popular as people are making out it to be. Who wants to start all over again with no Twink gear to start a new one. Starting a Melee class again with nothing is not going to be my cup of tea.

a lvl 65 with AA's and Luclin/PoP gear is dramatically more powerful than velious lvl 60s even if they had best in slot gear.
