Advertising the beta better might help. Adding a note to the message of the day would alert people that the beta is out. If you don't check the homepage or hear about it from friends you might never know.

This, and we should setup some sort of mass leveling project on beta. I imagine if we chose a night and told everyone to make a level 1 Iksar, it would be a ton of fun and would probably reveal a fair number of bugs in the process.

Not a fan of leveling solo on a beta server, and I don't have a high level character to test with.

When the melee calculations are patched to retest, I will rejoin with my level 1 to continue testing.

Looking over the melee dmg thread it is well reported and I have given my input from what I remember. Several people who are more in the know of what is going on are providing much more/better input than I. Nothing more can be done in that respect.

You might consider giving a little more thought as to what someone is posting. Anyone spending any amount of time in the beta forums would know that the level 1 melee dmg is an issue that is being handled with great diligence. That same person could deduce that my input was simply an explanation as to why I, or possibly others, are not on right now.

I know that dealing with some of the personalities on these forums can cause one to immediately react to every post with hostility, but please take time to ensure that you aren't taking a "shoot-from-the-hip" snipe at posters who do not suffer from said attitude problems.
