This post was from a 12-12-2010 screenshot involving an Innoruuk kill which Tubban was awarded a piece of god loot.

After the MQ incident, Dark Ascension claims that Tubban hasn't been online in months, much less been a frequent member of their raid force. Which contradicts the screenshot showing him actively running around and being awarded loot.

how can someone who hasn't been on in months, and hasn't been a "full member" in months be on a raid a day before he was caught with MQ, and gaining loot from Innoruuk's table which is done via loot council? There were several clerics there, several could have used the 7 wisdom, but it was awarded to Tubban? The same person who hasn't been active in months?

And this statement right here actually proves how unaware we were about Tubban using any sort of 3rd party program. Would we honestly award God loot to someone we knew was using an illegal program and risk loosing that loot for the guild's collective advancement?

And don't throw out that tired conspiracy theory that Durison would because he knows about all cheatin; because as Abacab stated, it was awared by a loot council, not Durison.

I'll make a reply here, and I know immediately that people aren't going to believe it, are going to spin it to whatever way they can to fit it into a puzzle of a different sort, or whatever. The truth over all the Dark Ascension drama is pretty simple, really.

First and foremost, the entirety of the guild, nor the leadership of the guild was or is aware of any sort of cheating. Either it be the use of MQ2, SEQ, duping, database insider information, or anything. How would I know? Because I was in the leadership circle. If you think that anyone in the leadership circle would openly admit that they use or utilize any of the aforementioned infractions, you're wrong. It's just that simple. I never mentioned my use of SEQ to the others, because I knew they were against it. It's just that simple.

So I am not saying that everyone, including the leadership DOESN'T do any of these things, because I can not magically appear behind them at home and see what programs they have running. But in the same breath, the EXACT SAME can be said for ANYONE else on this server. You truly truly truly do NOT know, unless you fuck up and get caught. Dark Ascension had 2 recent incidents where this happened, nearly in a row. So the spotlight is a bit brighter.

As for Tubban, it's true that he was absent for some time, in GENERAL, prior to his banning. His name was pretty rare in /guild. The function of loot council, to my understanding at the time (It may have changed over the past few weeks), is to award those players whose total contributions were that higher of another player. This not only includes raid attendance, but tracking (incoming joke), donation of class-related skills on off-times, and a variety of other things. Tubban was a long time member, and it's possible that the item he was awarded, it was a no brainer in that he had been a member longer, and had attended more raids. I know that DA has had an influx of applicant clerics, so it's very possible that he was the only 'long timer' on the list of clerics up for said loot. Not, "OMG OBVIOUSLY CONDONING AND PARTAKING CUZ HE GOT LEWTZ". Use your fucking brains, pseudo egotistical saps.

And there is no denying that Tubban, from what I have heard, was acting not like himself prior to his banning. Now there are some conspiracy theories floating around that people have told me about how he is believed to be a totally new owner, or someone had access to him at the time of his banning, or what have you. None of that really matters, because as it's said: "It's not what you know, it's what you can prove." Which applies to everything in this thread.

So I leave you with that. Let your hate mongering, propaganda spreading, shit spewing carry on.

We’re playing on a hacked errr emulated server with jacked up code on 10-year old game ran by some geeky (albeit talented) technophiles. 99% of the people playing this game grabbed it off of a torrent and had to be led by a string to get it loaded improperly enough to even log on here. Quit pretending like you’re outraged that there are people who take it one step further and use something like sEQ or whatever the hell it is; it’s like complaining about seeing nude women when you’re at a strip club. Why even act surprised?

Ban those who you find using cheats. I’m all for it. Obviously you have the means of finding them and doing so, so more power to ya. But I still believe it’s weak to pretend like it is something that anyone besides the person who is running it should be held accountable or responsible for.
