from what i've gathered:

jeremy's leaderboard used to auto update ranks with every kill, which was fine until mass pvp happened, and the monitor would miss kills, go down, etc.

so he changed it to update ranks every now and then(maybe manually triggered?) to save resources

what ended up happening was new players to the system were rank 0, which put them at the top of the leaderboard and caused other annoying issues

so he set the default rank for new players to be 100000 or whatever until their rank gets updated with the rest of them

I'm just amused that you can put a fungi on someone, give them a rogue epic and decent offhander and that you can still run them around for 10 minutes on a naked paladin.

Also amusing is that the guy is so bad with all his shiny items that despite using (wasting) 2 pumice charges he loses the YT to unrest trash... ho ho ho.

If someone wanted to grief twinks, even if it would take more than one person, what would be the best way to go about it?

I believe an enchanter, a snarer, and sufficient DPS would be able to put a stop to even a fungi twink. Tash, dispels, snare, debuffs, some rogue poison if you've got it (snare, root, or perhaps blind if you've got snare or root covered), and apply damage. It does take a lot of hits to drop these twinks, though.
