This is false...there are most certainly pushes in line betting. In fact, I took Auburn -3 on bodog last night and pushed...didn't win, didn't lose. If there were no pushes, there would never be a reason to have 1/2 points in betting lines...like in your example above, the results would be identical to what would happen in a Auburn -3.5/Oregon +3.5 spread.

Some casinos will specify a "ties win" or "ties lose" rule but I have yet to run into that in this day and age with half-point spreads. Casinos these days refund your money on a push.
