Server sucks

disregarding the pve and pvp situation, and the shitty state of the economy, the server still isn't attractive due to other reasons

logging in and seeing 50 online in total doesn't create much enthusiasm

funny how a symptom of the server being unattractive adds to the server being more unattractive, its nearly like its a downward spiral

Biggest problem with opposition on this box has always been that the same group of people for years now would rather pvp the small up coming guilds into oblivion rather than the top dog.

If the GROBB massacre showed us anything the only positive trait Empire has going for them is three times the numbers in most PvP engages. I was there and believe me when I say I saw no intelligence on Empires side, most warmbodies had very little time in game that was not spent either plugged or dead, and their charismatic leaders were unable to motivate the warm bodies to assist or even focus the same targets.

Hopefully in six months from now the gear advantage will be enough for Empire to win a fight against a couple of friends in Kunark rags.

We have no interest in zerging down content with hundreds of people and ruin the experience of the last expansion on R99. This will most likely be the last time we can enjoy such a immersive game in all its 1999 glory so why rob yourself of everything that made Everquest fun and engaging?

Once this server runs its course and everyone quits the only difference will be your character on the dead server will have more gear then my character on the dead server. Hopefully you'll have had fun between now and then creating enjoyable memories because after all this is a game not a job.

I am seriously shocked that what happened on R99 is the exact thing that happened on every classic rules PVP server ever. I never would have saw that coming, and I definitely would chain shitpost whine about it every day. I'd also make sure that everyone knows (via said chain shitposts) that the way I play is the only right way, and that the vast majority who play the game differently are the problem and not the fundamental game design that lead to the majority playing differently than me in the first place.
