Your conclusion is that a server needs competent active staff in order to prevent an "empire" type guild. You provide no explanation or examples of what said staff would do or what the issue with a large guild that defeats pve encounters in what is basically a pve game with a pvp option enabled.

Your response is to learn reading comprehension and that the "problem" (which I guess we are to assume is large pve guilds defeating dragons meant for 40+ players) has existed before empire. You don't really illustrate further what these staff members would do or what the problem is exactly, leaving us to guess what it may be.

1. Non corrupt GMs= Server integrity
2. Higher population allows for more PVP and PVE guilds
3. Right now there is only enough population on the server to support one guild . Not enough people with high playtimes left over to recruit and "contest" as they say.


When people live through multiple corrupt GMs and shitty server rules. You lose your player base, and are left with very hardcore people and ultra casuals. You lose that middle of the road gamer that makes any server lively and more fun.

This class of gamer is probably the most sane, and corrupt /shitty GMs scare them off first.

Yet here you are, five years later, still posting and playing. Where are these hundreds of mythical players who quit the server because Nagafen was put into a wall? What is all of this Corrupt GM'ing that impacted the end game scene here? The vast majority of the corruption from GM's on Project 1999 involved Blue99, not Red99. Most people quit this server due to the same reasons that people quit most games: bored of the content.

i've been curb stomped on everquest emulated pvp servers for the past 4+ years

Empire won in Kunark when everyone laughed @ us for preparing/recruiting for velious a year before it came out.

The gear gap is too huge in velious. Dragon fear being all fucked up doesn't help lesser geared guild/players trying to raid shit like zland/kland as well.

The gear gap is nothing see Grobb and my 148 KDR. Maybe a year from now but probably not, over half of empires roster are new players at any given time and I don't see it changing if they want to keep killing Vulak. Stop crying server is fine
