TMO tried Red, and an established red99 guild griefed them off the server once they was a few months away from possibly being a threat. That's what I find funny though. These Red99 guys BEG people to come over to their server just to have fresh meat to troll and grief. It's a never ending cycle over there. People buy into their "Try Red" BS, after they start to level and gear up some they grief people off the sever before they can be a threat to their zero competition pixels.

feels good to completely disregard the pvp aspect of the game and still be beating these 2 nerds on the server, seeing content and receiving items that they will never have a shot at every week

Stopped reading... it's just your bullshit utopian view of eq pvp to try and recruit. There is a reason the server has so little population.

This is the crux of why red is so barren.

Sure, sounds great for the established, but in trying to get established, you are on the receiving end.

Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this? How is this 'fun'?

Its the reason why I wont try red, and by the looks of the disparity between the servers populations, I'm not the only one.
