Detoxx started another raid guild to challenge Rampage, named Forsaken. They had some success at first, but predictable problems set in. Most people that really want pixils are bandwagoners by nature. They stack on the guild that's most powerful -- uninterested in the possible benefits of being a core member of rising guild (risk payoff). Thus, Forsaken bleed members to Rampage because they were getting the biggest targets and most dragons.
From my memory, Rampage hardly took any Forsaken members at all, so I'd love to see a list of names to back up that claim. I'd say most Forsaken just took a break or ghosted.

Yeah those 80 people logging in at 10-11AM EST on a Monday morning for 3 weeks in a row because Lord Vyemm popped, are all deep into their career fields.

This, the 12 to 18 hour train sessions in VP were the funnest time on this server. Only one way it could have been better. Everyone with red name tags.
There was nothing scarier than seeing Necrious run up on you in VP with wurms in tow. A chill ran down my spine every time I saw him in VP, even one time after I joined TMO. I had so much fun with those train wars. They were definitely among the best PvP experiences I've had in any game, which is surprises me because I generally don't have much fun in a support role. Rogues couldn't kill anyone, but everyone wanted to and was trying to kill you. Pretty much played like those med evac choppers in Nam. Hoshkar...

Hey cutie, I love that new account. Looks good on you. Will your officers get the GMs to lookup your IP and expose your account like they did to Danny, or will they bitch out and prove me right in that their bullshit rules are only enforceable when they get butthurt.

Hint: I already know the answer.

I beat my enemy, have my own Hitler video, and just downed Tunare. Did I win P99 yet? YOU'RE NEXT AWAKENED!

Jk, I wouldn't play without competition, that's for sure! I'll let you guys linger around a little bit longer. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Shit's gonna look good on your resume. Hope you take a break soon, for your family's sake.

This will sound super crazy, but I value my Crown of Rile way higher than I do my Gnome mask. Crown of Rile, and Robe of Azure Sky to me were the biggest items in the game when I started seriously raiding on P99. Gnome mask is neat, and it's nice to have 1 of 6 (of which probably only 3-4 are active now), but for whatever reason it just isn't the same.

Tunare dagger was cooler until the casuals started getting them.
IS THIS REAL?!?!

Do all of the end game no life shit stains sit around talk about which piece of their loot they value the most? You shitbags keep track of ST drops to feel special?

This place gets more pathetic every week

IB vs DA wasn't fun for anyone. It was more a posing contest over who was going to Mage farm plane of sky and the RnF wasn't that fruitful either.
Pre-Sky DA vs IB was pretty dope. Raid rules were much less restrictive, guild sizes were smaller and much more mobile, and a lot of gimmicky strategies that have been used here over the years hadn't been considered yet. As brutal as it could be, I actually made a ton of friends from both guilds during those 15 man AFK claiming days. Would have like 60 people sitting inside the PoF fire wall waiting for shit to spawn and jus BSing with each other. Also the competition seemed much closer. As fun as FE vs TMO could be, TMO destroyed us for those first few months. I got the first FE bard epic and think I had been to 30+ trak raids before we a) got the kill and b) guts dropped. We probably watched them kill 50+ VP dragons before we got that first druushk kill. IB usually beat up on DA, but even then DA was usually getting 1 or 2 mobs out of 6 weekly.

Sky was absolutely horrible though. So many players burned out up there in the first 3 months after it was released.

TR vs DA/TMO was cool too. DA/TMO had the numbers, but a lot of their good players like Daltheb and Baub had switched to TR, so it was a lot of 60-70 man DA/TMO zergs vs TR forces that were half the size, but much better geared and prepared. People always claim their competition zergs while they dont, but TR vs DA/TMO was one of the few times it was almost always true. Was cool to see that play out.

If all the other players like you, left....it would be a great server to enjoy the nostalgia factor.

The end game raiders here ruin the server, it's a selective group of people without careers or social status who have spent 6 years playing this server non stop and consider it an elite club.

Look at all the essays reminiscing about old times followed by a dissertation on rule precedent set 3 years ago. Let go, go outside

They mostly have. We're left with the dregs like yourself and that's why this forum isn't as fun.
