I'm pretty sure the establishment republicans renewed for another season.

If the rich guys team up with environmental fanatics and certain ethnic minorities, that would be a hell of a coalition. They would be pro green jobs and environmental restoration, but also minimal government types with tax cuts preferred.

The opposing party would be a populist Republican style party with Christian-based redistribution ideals, the whole minimal government ideal abandoned.

For this to occur the establishment-Republican types would basically join the Democrat party. Those interested in redistribution first and for most would then be persauded to leave to the Republican party.

Unlikely, but possible.
