I could be wrong but I think they've been under massive DDOS attack for weeks

Damn shame. Haven't logged on in ~ a month but it was a pretty solid server for nostalrius refugees.

Yes they were under massive DDOS attacks so they decided to relocate the server hardware, aiming for better server performance.

Yeah I started playing for a day or two, I'm a level 6 Night Elf Hunter my name is Knukle. Glad to see they are going back up heard they have a system to prevent DDoS attacks moving forward?

That it needs, performance was crud when I was on there, prolly worse since nos shut down and waves of refugees incoming. I have a night elf hunter in the 40's there, just disconnects and lag was horrendous. Though otherwise was a good server. That's what I was wondering, if they did move, means fiddling with my install to point to the new location if I ever do log in again.. though no plans.

Well, fortunately I'm one of three people in this thread that still plays on p99, and I just rolled a new cleric, so yes sounds like a plan as I med.
