Now everyone has 5-6-7-8 level 60 alts because of the 380% xp and anyone interested in coming to red from blue doesn't want to leave their hard work behind, which is understandable.

However, neither of the above facts can save red99 a 2nd time around, as much as it's everyone who continues to play dream that there will be a 2nd resurgence on the server.

Merging red99 into blue99 and then reopening it from classic will provide a great basis of a new server -- that yes as many pointed out above will just eventually turn in to the shit fest red99 turned in to because that seems to be the nature of PvP servers.
The suggested merge let's those players who want to just PvE progress their toons to continue on blue and everyone that wants a classic PvP server gets to come back and kick rocks for awhile.

Look at the ZekPvP server as an example -- a known trashcan cheating server that is pulling 100 players alone because it's offering a classic pvp experience.

Could you imagine a red99 pvp rehash?






This is all theory though because without the involvement of the big boys upstairs we as a community can talk about this as much as we want but it has the same factuality and progression as 4-5 hippy dudes smoking a joint talking about area 51.
