i think the issue with that is that Marwyn was only in book 4 iirc, and that was released in 2006 iirc, which means we've all already had 10 years to go over the Marwyn stuff with nothing new added.

but to be fair, theres a ton of stories and theories surrounding Marwyn. i think hes one of the most interesting characters, and im terrified the show will just water him down.

define "all"

there's 8 in the book, and 3 on the show. so far none of them are dead anywhere.
but they fucked up dorne so badly, i assume that when Dany's sides takes losses it's going to start with the sorry excuse for the sand snakes that the show gave us.

so, photo leaks from set imply that Jorah will be rejoining Dany in Dragonstone.

do you think they will have magically cured the greyscale? and if so, what was even the point of giving it to him? especially if they never planned on doing the Jon Connington & Aegon story. I just don't see the point, it does nothing for his character growth, it does nothing to progress the story.

curious on thoughts though, maybe i missed something?

No big surprise. It's just character conservation. Show watchers know who Jorah is so they don't have to introduce a new character. Shit's so far off book now they're just making it up as they go along. I'm sure they have a general idea how it ends and there will be more spoilers like the Children being the creators of the Others. But Preston can stop waiting for the Dornish Master Plan to materialize on the show. It ain't happening. The best we can hope for is more good flashbacks to flesh out the story and an epic ending.

Bingo. The slaughtering characters paradigm is no longer profitable now that the show reached Facebookian critical mass (or not worth the risk anyway).
