Velks BP Gems Nerfed
Any luck on getting these to drop from velium hunters or stalkers? Haven't had a single drop recently, seems like they've been nerfed but don't see anything in the notes

The BP gems don't drop from those, do they? I think they come from BM camp or something...

Definitely have dropped from velium hunters and broodmaster/broodmother, farmed a bunch in the past. Drop rate seems incredibly nerfed though unless i'm having horrible luck

Velks has the most dog shit drop rate for velious gems.

According to this EQ clerics thread, there should be a 10%ish drop rate of BP gems on hunters (let's say 5% to account for exaggeration). Is that not in the ballpark for P99?

I farm the BM camp a good amount and I haven't noticed any change in the drop rates of the velium hunters/brood master/brood mother. RNGesus giveth, and RNGesus taketh away (i.e. variance is a bitch).

On opening night gems were dropping like candy, don't know which gems were for which piece but I was in a group that got the 2nd pair of SCHWs and we walked out with a lot of gems.... a lot...
