Level 1 Iksars/Rares, TLC, Main nearby

I know that killing greens will not make items appear on their corpses,

But would it possible to camp my main in FoB, make a level 1 Iksar kill stuff, if a rare drops log to him and loot it from that?

Or will the item disapear, detecting somehow that the corpse you are looting from would be green to you if it was alive?

Would this work? is this allowed?

Yes this would increase my odds, but I AM going to make an iksar anyway and conversely, killing exp cons solo on my 41 warrior main would be just awful.

good luck killing something getting a drop, logging out, logging in on your main, and getting to the corpse to loot it before any of the 500 other lvl 1-5 iksar's get there

Surely if corpses last 8 minutes, and you can only loot them after minute 4:50, I will have like an ample 4 mins to switch to Tob and loot up.

seems like it would work in theory... is all the special gear no drop?

manastones, mist walkers, rubicite BP and the box of al kabor are all tradeable.

The mask is the only item that i know 100% for sure is no drop. Dunno bout the rez staff or the gate ring.

And then there could still be stuff that might drop that Rogean didn't tell us about.

Well, they're monitoring the drops and plan to kill them once 'enough' have dropped.

I'm really only expecting 10-20 of each item to drop before they get killed.

So it's probably 1/1000 chance per mob of getting a drop.

These are just guesses, I have no evidence.
