Default Disarm combat skill

The p1999 wiki is a little vague on this combat skill - can anyone fill in the blanks?

1. Can you disarm magical weapons from mobs? Or only non-magic weapons?
(I am assuming you can't just walk up to the ghoul lord and disarm his SSOY.)

2. Do disarmed weapons drop to the ground, or simply drop to the NPC's inventory (and if so, can they be re-equipped by the NPC after X time limit?)

2A. If the weapon drops to NPC inventory, can you pre-load the NPC with X number of given items, which means no room left in their inventory - which means the disarmed weapon might poof, or drop to the ground?

3. If you attempt to disarm an indifferent NPC, does it count as an "attack" and the NPC will aggro you?

3A. Does it matter if the disarm is successful or not?

4. If you can only disarm non-magic weapons, and you play on the blue server, what possible reason(s) are there to spend the time/effort to raise the skill? (Does disarm generate any hate whatsoever? If so, a minor taunt effect could be considered useful.)

As far as I could tell if you successfully disarm magical weapons it goes into their inventory instead of on the ground. No trade, non magical things can be disarmed onto the ground (sarnak war braids in OT or the urd eyes found in guk). I've not tested out filling inventory to see where the magical item goes.

I would guess successful disarm would cause the mob to attack you. Not certain if unsuccessful attempts get you aggro. I always have disarm in a macro along with bash or taunt or any other spam in combat on cooldown skills. It levels fairly painlessly by having it in a macro; not quite sense heading on a strafe key fast, but it gets the job done.

On the blue server disarming things can get rid of a proccing weapon or more hilariously can be used in hammer duels to get rid of your opponent's hammer. If you're disarming in sky while corpsing keys you can cause confusion if the weapon goes into the key bag. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
