Seen the flaw in the system and pulled the plug.

Wish red99 was more like soe sometimes...atleast soe does new servers.

ran a team of guys just training the shit out of the premier raid guild for months on end. sleeper was just a pit stop to closing the server. box was shut down and SOE CM cited "too many petitions, not enough money"

each dude would have had to put up probably 100 dollars/mo each to monetize the Mac box again. relapse singlehandedly sucked all of the money out of the server and put it into the red, which then got the suits to plug it. like 1k+ petitions/month steady bleeding unknown how much money Mac actually lost but it was enough to shutter it only a short time after Relapse declared war on it.

Lots of things.

They lost the dev tools so couldn't check certain things so people were petitioning stupid shit like...oh I accidently deleted my 150k plat can I get it summoned? And gms would be like okay this is a one time thing for this account (summon plat).

There was a way to "xfer a toon to a new account" but it left a copy on the old account so peeps were doing that and rmting off the extra toon.

Petitions went thru the roof as the pop increased due to "free status and.....the pc hack".

Lotta peeps like rellapse and shit showed up and started 2 shit on the server, the community was atleasy 95% trustworthy then everyone went 2 trusting only pals. Some dude pleaded with me to sell him one of my aons on the cheap so I did been a nice fellow than a day later he is selling it for 2x the price...all that sorta douchie sruff that comes with the "free sub tag".

There was 2 brothers (at least Ithought they were?) Nice guys as I tagged along on their raids a few times but they were boxing 40 toons or so doing raids (using bots and shit).

Someone (bless his soul) set up his toons in PoK and if you whispered him a certain tell he'd invite you to a group: buff you with Kei and hp buffs then disband the group (all botted) then some fuckwit reported it and his toons got banned. It was called buff club -- i.e fight club no one spoke about it but every1 knew about it.

Someone rmt'd a shit load of plat (assuming platlord type person) and bought up every item decent item on thr auction house and proceeded to do it for weeks, then tried to release all the items back on the market at 1.5-2x the value all thr surge of pc players would then go rmt plat to buy his items.

I think tho in the end it was just thr volume of petitions that came from the server and was chewing up paid gms time that made them pull the plug.

The pop went from like 200 to 500 with the PC client, and lotta the PC boys came from the toxic emulator scene...outcasts etc.

A lot of these guys he's associated with are dusty as hell and haven't done anything in FQ or EQ in several years. It's not really his fault, he's a relic. the ark of the covenant of EQ Mac.

I've been so busy dismantling Apex and finishing off what's left of the red server that I almost forgot Relapse trolled some kids on blue too.

But yea if he's not going to slow down and get his bearings I don't see him doing big things here in 2017. Lulz tried it and it flopped. squad of oraculim? And spergdumbwing. Not off to a gr8 start. Now if he hits a lick? I'll be there to get his back.
