![]() Hey guys, I know there is a guide on the wiki for creating Enchanters, but before I realized this I went by the advice from a couple archived posts and I decided to roll High Elf and I went 25 Cha / 5 Sta. I know the last 5 points doesn't matter too much but what I am more concerned with is the first 25.
On Loraen's Enchanter Guide, she recommended 25 Cha for every race except High Elf and Human. For High Elf she recommends 15 Cha / 15 Int. What I want to know is, did I make a mistake putting 25 Cha on my High Elf? I know they have the highest starting Cha, but I assumed that it wasn't high enough to the point where 25 Cha wasn't the right choice. We will be leveling again starting tomorrow, so please let me know what you guys think. Also I am very much planning on raiding and min/maxing this character to the upmost without changing my race choice of High Elf. Basically, can I get INT and CHA maxed at 255 as a High Elf with 25 Cha / 5 Sta? Thanks guys.

![]() I would do 25 CHA / 5 INT and go AC and/or INT gear as soon as you have 205 unbuffed CHA.

![]() I think endgame velious loot makes it easier to cap INT and I think enchanters complain about it being more difficult to cap CHA so you probably made the correct choice.

![]() there is almost no charisma found on top end raid gear
intelligence will assuredly be maxed with top end raid gear a primal weapon makes strength, dexterity, and agility easily maxed when you want them true min/maxing would likely be 25 charisma, 5 stamina, but 5 stamina will be negligible at level 60 in any case i'd say you made the right choice, but i'm not sure if it's possible to have 255 charisma in top end raid gear regardless

![]() Capping CHA is pretty easy with cheap gear, but it can be hard finding HP and INT stuff at the same time to balance it out. As a human enchanter I'm up to 200 INT 255 CHA with no epic and no raid gear so it's easily doable for a high elf.

![]() STA on cloth classes is all but negligible, so 5 STA is a very minimal HP gain (but an HP gain none the less). The thing that really matters is that you max out CHA, no matter which race you picked, and you've got that covered. Don't worry so much about where you put the other 5 points.

![]() I would personally put at least 5 points into STA to get it to 70, then dump the other 25 between CHA and INT, probably more into CHA than INT. mayb 15 to CHA and 10 to INT.
But that's just me. | ||

![]() High Ef is definitely the best enchanter race and I agree with the 25 Charisma then I went 5 Int but as others have said those are much less important. You don't usually die running out of mana but from a poorly timed charm break so 255 charisma is most important.

![]() Okay so since I should be able to get 255 Int in raid gear, then going 25 Cha wasn't the wrong choice from what you guys are telling me.
I am assuming since I didn't go 15 Cha / 15 Int, that means that I can start to think about going HP/AC/Int gear earlier when I hit my CHA goal. I just wanted to make sure going 25 Cha instead of 15/15 wasn't a mistake when having end game min/maxing as the goal. Thanks a bunch guys.
