Your writing and content creation is top notch. I really can say that I've enjoyed every video you've produced so far. I wish I could help in some way, but I guess subscribing and liking the video is a start!

Thanks for these.

Yay

Its worth pointing out the connections Xorbb has to the goblins living in Runny eye. Xorbbs staff is actually one of the four goblin staffs that were given to them as a final boon after being created from the ashes of thr Ankexfen, following the defeat of Rallos
Zek and his races (namely ogres, orcs, and the original goblins).

You can read more about it here in this quest http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=275

Its a part of the fabled Blued Two Handed Hammer, and the dialogue reveals that Xorbb has placed the goblins of runnyeye under his command. And clearly he has taken one of the last precious goblin artifacts from the king!

That's why you find evil eyes on Runnyeye. There is a prisoner there, so it seems like SOME resistance is being made by the goblins, but I wager the goblin King has been dominated.

However, since runnyeye 2.0 came out, it seems like Xorbb has less influence. The pickclaws, true to their name, expanded the mining operation and found high quality ore, also kicking out the remnants of clan Runnyeye. So it may now be that Xorbb is at war with the goblins and the morali who have infested the halls.

ahhh ty for summarizing this - I'm no EQ lore master, and I've intentionally studied my own personal mysteries as opposed to actual in-game lore and quests and such (would probably be a bit more interesting if I discussed this stuff though huh?)

The blue two handed hammer quest flashed before my brain when I mentioned Xorbb's staff, but I've never done the quest and I certainly don't know much about it - even the Runnyeye revamp kind of confuses me what with all the mob changes and such (evidently Borxx was killed? no longer spawns?.... I dunno!)

long story short I don't actually know enough to talk about actual things and I'm bad at research!

You are being too humble. It's clear you do a ton of research and theorize on alot of stuff in the game far deeper than the majority of us. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Nice work and awesome production quality really seems like a professional studio puts your videos together.

P.S. Are you secretly George Lucas or some other highly skilled filmmaker?

The chessboard vid was super cool. THAT is some arcane lore.

I like how he connects the dots so fluidly between such arcane details too. Really impressive.

The amount of time to research and then put it together in the game must be fairly significant.
