These videos are fantastic, entertaining, fun, informative and also inspiring. You make me want to go to lesser travelled zones and soak up the LOOOOOORE!

In all seriousness though, these videos give an idea how cool custom content could be on this server in the future. Imagine exploring something for the first time all over again.

These videos really made me think a lot more on this game. I always viewed games as a form of art personally.

Yes, they are used for entertainment and are addictive, and can ruin lives. But they also have a beautiful side to them, that being the art and thought the creators of the game put into them.

Starting EQ1, I remember one thing that really blew me away initially when I was younger and first starting on it was the water. The water mesmerized me, it glistened and really looked like water! Also, I found how the sun could rise and fall in places, I found that really deep.

These videos really took those basic appreciations a step further.

I never really thought on those weird messages on Runnyeyes walls! I never thought to look deeper into why there were two two different Opal Darkbriars in Norrath, I never thought to myself why there was a huge chestboard in BBM...

Sure, I noticed these things, but only as one slightly notices an individual tree that is passed on the way to work.

I have to say thanks to Utenan for really shining a beacon on the actual thought and art the original devs put into EQ1.

Part of why I do not enjoy new EQ is because this very artwork has been destroyed and wiped over with a very generic brush in what they determined was a graphic "update" to many of the old zones, and many other details. The new style of graphics wrecked and destroyed the old EQ and it's very magical sublore. Really a travesty imo.

Thanks Utenan/Michael's Shenanigans! You have become the unofficial art curator for Everquest, and I don't think anyone else could have done what you do better.

Kudos on the works you have created, they really are special.

Quality stuff, brother. If you'd ever like a custom song for one of your videos--or even a theme song/jingle for your series!--let me know. Would love to contribute.

Borxx was removed with the Runnyeye revamp so it is no longer possible to get the lens. I did slay him though and have one in the bank!

The quest should also be altered to not require it, I believe but will need to do more research.
