I think you can use both, but you'd need to dedicate a spell gem to it. Situational, I imagine.

I had found my copy via EC tunnel... very useful spell!

My current challenge is finding Boon of the Garou...

Got a few copies of Wandering Mind from holgreshes in WL and a few Boon of the Garou from cobalt drakes in CS.

Boon of Garou dropped from Garou for me. Was a beautiful moment.

Wandering Mind I recall seeing dropped. May have been off the level 1 werewolf boss in ToFS.

Unless you are assigned the role of draining a mobs mana , then no , you'll never need it again. It's a slow 120 (?) Mana absorb vs tot for a burst of 350 mana every other fight

Yes, it's a slow mana absorb, 120 mana. It's no TOT, but it's still useful.

Used on cool down it is basically like having POTG all the time, both are +6 mana/tick. Is POTG useless? Not to me.

I shold add, in the majority of HS, where you can use it on 90% of mobs you encounter, there's no reason not to be using it as soon as it pops up.
