Went to bed , on wakeup cant play

My computer was restarted so I am guessing I recieved a update for windows but I can get to various stages and I get an illigal exemption to 0000x0000 or something like that please help if you have a clue.

Sounds like the same error some people get when there is a resolution issue.

If you play in fullscreen mode trying going to your eqclient.ini file and in there find "WindowedMode=False" and change it to "WindowedMode=TRUE". you can find the EQclient.ini in your installation directory which, by fault, is at c:\program files\sony\everquest

That should at least let you log in to the game and play with your display settings if it is the issue I am thinking of.
