Default Chest upgrade question

I am looking to upgrade my chest from a bloodstained tunic to a phase spider carapace soon, but before I do I was wondering if there was another chest piece that anyone would recommend (in same price range) and why? I am a lvl 22 ogre shammy.

Honestly I'd just keep your bloodstained tunic and save the money for a JBB or even just spells later on. PSC is going to feel like a side grade more than anything else.

If its droppable, there's no such thing as saving (unless item value drops significantly). Just treat purchases as rentals since you can sell and buy XXX item later.

PSC is fine

Not sure if you have other items already upgraded but you could always upgrade more for cheaper elsewhere (6ac/65hp rings) etc. what else are you rocking on your shaman?

Currently I am running platinum fire wedding rings x2, bloodstained tunic, prayer cloth of tunare, Golden black sapphire earring, platinum dragon totem, smoldering brand, silver chitin handwraps. hollow bone bracer, electrum jasper earring, idol of woven grass, arctic wyvern mask, giant scalemail helm, raw hide wristband, tar goo strand, Cloak of the ice bear, split paw hide belt, raw hide leggings and raw boots. I know that there is a few things that really need to be replaced, but the PSC seemed like it could offer the most value. Any thoughts?

Not in the same range, but the nearest significant upgrade is regen bp, along with a hard hitting 2h. Unless your enjoyment is in obsessing over stats at 22, you could also just level up with what you got. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Get a 2HB as highest priority, instead of a new Chest.

I can recommend Poison Wind Censer (2HB 20/28). Cheap and a great Weapon.
Using it almost exclusively since level 19 (yes, even before the cap came off) as it was already better dmg than the Slime Coated Harpoon and Springwood Club).

When cap came off at 20 you suddenly hit for like 55 instead of 24 max, damn nice!

I'm maxing my Piercing and 1HB every level (28 atm), but with PWC the mobs die significantly faster than with my 1handers.

You already use SCHW, so you should be set for some great meleeing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah I would probably get the PWC then replace some of the other items that offer little to no beneficial stats. You’d be surprised the quality of gear you can get in a slot for 100-200pp.
