Not sure. Might want to ask Robthe how AHK is working out for him.
I don't know anything about 'AHK' but an auction tool sounds great. Might help me liquidate the bags of lodi shells I have just rotting away on my mule.

Log parsers are fine. They don't mess with the client. They just read a text file.
Just wanted to second Ravager's point in case anyone was unsure. Anything that actually interacts with the EQ program (even a tiny macro on your keyboard that lets you press one button and have it count as two button presses) is banned, but logs are technically completely outside of the EQ program itself (it just writes to them as you play, but after it does they're just normal text files).

If log parsing was banned GINA, those programs that show the map of the zone you're currently in, all of the auction tracking sites (including the wiki's own auction tracker), etc. couldn't operate ... but they do, so you can trust that log parsing is safe.

His "brother" also logs in his PoM CoTH bot to do his CoTHs while he sits in the tunnel.

That's all, folks.
Unsubstantiated. Why do you expect people to listen to you if you don't give any legitimate reasons? I've had loads of interactions with Boutik. He's been very friendly. So he's a trading wizard and has a corner on the market and thus can control prices a lot... so what? Go cry about it elsewhere? I dunno...

There are players on this server with 500k-1m+ plat just sitting around...
A lot of times it's not worth it for them to play EC tunnel rat for days trying to negotiate 1k off an item.

I'f you don't like Boutiks prices, just wait for the undercut.

I bought an item from him, marked at an average of 150,000 plat for 100,000 plat. Not to mention in a recent free roll where everyone in EC had the chance to roll for free plat, he donated 10k to the pot.

He may be responsible for some price hikes, and he may be irritating to some, especially on the forums. But EC is a free market, and a virtual one at that. Yes of course you don't HAVE to buy from him, but most of his prices are on par with the average if you really take a look. Granted he may be responsible for some those prices.

Point is, its a free market, hes just doing his thing.

The most important thing to finding a good bargain in EC or making a profit is PATIENCE. Most of the people who complain about price gouging in EC don't spend nearly enough time there for their opinion to be validated.

if you are PATIENT, and realize that boutik doesn't hold all the supply, you will see that someone will come along with the same item and undercut his price. If you know anything about boutik he rarely changes his prices, he's very PATIENT with what he has for sale. So in due time its almost a guarantee that you will find your item at a lower price. I also spend quite a bit of time in EC, and there are plenty of players who have an item for sale and drop their prices significantly if they dont sell it within minutes. If this is YOU, either give it more time or settle... Because the reverse is also true, you can undercut the EC street fatcats and still make a profit. The funny thing is, that I guarantee most people complaining about boutik's prices would sell the same items for the same price if they had the chance, because this isnt about justice or unfair advantage, this is about people not getting what they want.
