Thus your statement that 'it's been proven' does not even jive with the scientifically educated proponents of evolution itself. In biology we already have the law of biogenesis (not linking any religious/creationism junk) which still hasn't been disproven using scientific method. I realize we get around this by the theory of Panspermia, but we cannot use 1 theory to validate another theory into law.

Much like the theory of intelligent design or creationism, in both science and religion. Both are accepted on faith, with proof and disproofs for both from leading scientists on each side.

By misrepresenting evolution you actually damage its credibility [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Wait.. what? Your really going to try and debate evolution? Really? I mean... I've kinda needed a thread to go gonzo on over the past few months, but fuk, this is like trying to convince Lummi that lizards dont run the government.

I mean, really? You want to debate that evolution is a fact? I'm sensing that your really Lummi, and soon will be talking about the lizard government and how everyone on earth is really ghost souls from aliens or someshit.

Ok, fuk it.

First off, how much time did you spend on google to come up with your stupid fucking retort?

Secondly, do you debate evolution as a theory, fact, or law?

We will start there, and let you direct the procession of you looking fucking ignorant on the interwebs.

Please educate yourself on the difference between scientific theory and the broader sense of the word theory.

"A scientific theory comprises a collection of concepts, including abstractions of observable phenomena expressed as quantifiable properties, together with rules (called scientific laws) that express relationships between observations of such concepts. A scientific theory is constructed to conform to available empirical data about such observations, and is put forth as a principle or body of principles for explaining a class of phenomena."

TL;DR, the term 'theory of evolution' is not meant to imply there is doubt about its validity.

I refer you to the theory of gravity.

Also sidenote, there is a huge difference between a scientific law and a scientific theory. It's not like a theory graduates and becomes a law.

Scientific Law - A scientific law is a description of an observed phenomenon..

Scientific Theory - A theory is a scientific explanation of an observed phenomenon.

And just for good measure "A theory does not change into a scientific law with the accumulation of new or better evidence. A theory will always be a theory, a law will always be a law. A theory will never become a law, and a law never was a theory." - Ken Harding

Please feel free to review any material from the National Academy of Science to further educate yourself on what a Scientific Theory actually is and why evolution is in fact just that, a fact.

I'm still waiting for proof that this isn't a huge video game we are in, sort of like the matrix. Not quite like 'the matrix', but digital like some scientists are theorizing on.

My boss gave me a laptop and shoulder bag to carry around on the job today, at first I was happy about it, then I immediately noticed that it reeked of Cat Piss.

That's kind of ironic, lol. Posting a "Science time bitches!" picture when you don't even know what "theory" means in science.

Hint: theorys do not graduate to laws, or anything beyond theory. Theory != hypothesis
