Depends on how you earn it and spend it. If you believe in God and get rich by doing good work and honest means then you're close to God because you're providing value. And even closer if you're generous with it and spend it on charity and helping others. Without wasting it or "throwing it to disaster" as the Qur'an says it.

2:195 And spend in the cause of God, but do not throw your resources to disaster. And do good, for God loves those who do good.

And if you're poor then that means you're doing nothing to help others and you have to rely on someone else to support you, usually.

But if you get money by dishonest means like usury, scams, crime, stealing, etc then you're close to Hell and far from God and all your work, power and wealth will be erased after your respite.

I dont mind people who follow a religion. For most people a religion is a stabilizer in their life, and I respect that. But i fucking hate people who try to convert others with their belief.

It can be. But so can the pseudoscience cult that promotes lies in the name of science with idols like Bill Nye, Neil DeAss, etc.

And for Muslims we don't try to convert, we only warn so there's no excuses on the Day of Judgement, and give good news to the believers. God is the One who guides or misguides. Its not up to us.

The social compact of society itself is a tool to control the masses. You give up a bit of freedom by choosing to follow the law but in return you get things like police, roads, schools.

Religion itself is a stabilizing force. Many are subverted but the primary function is to offer a righteous path in spiritualism. I know that is christianitys. And that’s the one thing that makes humans different than any other animal, that we have the ability to be spiritual. This might not be true for your country but also, we were founded on Christian values.

That's quite debatable. A lot of human deaths throughout the course of our history have come in the name of religion. A lot of cultures have been destroyed because of aggressive conversion practices. If by stabilize you mean that after it's destroyed anything 'other' and supplanted itself as the primary practice of the majority left standing, then yes I agree.

And I'm not only referencing the atrocities of the past, because even today we have hate groups or terrorist organizations who use religion as the reason to inflict pain, suffering, and judgement upon others.

We literally wouldn’t have morality if we didn’t have a fear of God. You’ll question that but look into atheistic countries and how well they do morally.... in pretty much every case. When you don’t have a fear of god it often enables people to do terrible terrible things.

That being said, there are forces at work to subvert religions and it’s been done successfully. Groups like ISIS were created and pushed by non Muslim groups. Christianity's higher ranks right now aren’t very Christian.

Religion largely builds communities, keeps them healthy, keeps individuals healthy and on track and is the reason so much charity work is done around the world.
