No hate to wiki warlords, you guys do a bang-up job! Appreciate all the free contributions. Sometimes errors go missing for years (like this one) but such is that wiki life.

NOTE: Veteran EverQuest players are not only likely to recall two boats, but Sister Isle being the first stop out of East Freeport. Though the second boat was not added until the Kunark era, the latter recollection is entirely correct: even though Antonica lies west of Faydwer, boats departing Butcherblock Mountains mysteriously traveled east to reach Freeport--the wrong direction. Project 1999 has corrected the direction of the boat so that it travels eastward to reach Faydwer from Antonica,

Oh the wondrous things you can discover when you go play the game instead of staring at a wall in lguk for 96 hours or running in circles clicking a wand all day.

I don't know if you know what's actually wrong and are asking or its a quiz, but due to the nature of one of the coordinates being incorrectly mapped on /location JUST in ocean of tears, combined with the fact that the boat appears to be going in reverse, and also a few non asset geography appears to be pulled through itself, my only conclusion that the mystery of ocean of tears is that one of the coordinates of the map file is inverted. Like a mirror.

The direction of the boat going is wrong, but that's not what's wrong with the map itself.

Cen is onto it.

Find, -2000, -4000, and -3000 on the East-West axis on the map.

I mean those two coordnates are backward, but the actual entire map has an east west flip on /location which is a huge problem. You are travelling west in game when you are travelling 90 degrees to the right of north. It means the boat is going in the correct direction and reality itself in the zone is flipped ;O

Eh it's just that the locs go the wrong way, if /loc wasn't in the game and you had to rely on sense heading it'd be fine
