Default What am I doing wrong?

I've tried getting P1999 up and running several times using the EQemu guide and I think everything is correct, but every time I install then reinstall titanium and follow the steps again the patcher makes me download the station patches every time.

I put this into the eqhost.txt file:

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

Create the shortcut and change the target ending to patchme, but when I start it up and punch in my username and password that I made from LSaccount it tells me I have an invalid username and password.

All of this still happens even after I change the files and unzip the folders to the eqfolder from the getting started page..

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.

You have the follow the P99 guide, not just the eqemu guide:

http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651

Or use the installer tool someone made: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=28335

Default

or just use the eqemulauncher, it patches it for you and keeps your spell files up to date ... requires .net framework 3.5 or higher from microsoft
