Question for the "wear a mask" people. Now that this virus has killed 148k people in the country things are looking pretty grim. Why haven't you jumped on the bandwagon yet about what people could do about the biggest killers in our country? Cancer has been killing over half a million a year every year for a really long time. Heart disease beats cancer out. Even for people that go into remission from cancer there are some pretty nasty long term effects.

Heart disease and cancer aren't contagious airborne diseases, but if they were and if there was a simple way to reduce transmission of them, like breathing out of a snorkel, I would hope people would willingly face that inconvenience rather than risk killing their fellow citizens.

Making soda, alcohol, and cigarettes illegal would legitimately go a long way to reduce disease prevalence, but fats would march armed and maskless because freedom.

You are confused and think things should stay the same because the TV really, really wants you to think that. The revolution in telemedicine, telework, automation, UBI etc. is what makes scientific countries like Korea brush this shit off, and China stop it within their borders, whereas we, a country comprised of retards like you, are humiliated. The causes you list are being fought successfully. Every single cause of death is on a downward trend over time except for two.

One is Covid-19. The other is suicide. The rise in suicide predates the appearance of Covid-19 so there goes my theory that people are blowing their brains out because now that everyone is working at home they're realizing just how much Bards really suck (I don't mean to play, I mean to be around with).

Yes, given that a large portion of infected will remain asymptomatic, much of the statistical shit you see will be largely bullshit. The only semi-accurate way is to look at antibody rates, and even that might run into some problems with the sample size/pool the information is drawn from.
