Derg in Lake Rathetear

I found Derg in Lake Rathetear, who commented about finding a red shiny item underwater (unjeweled dragon head hilt) that is used for the Warrior epic.
From what I can tell, the hilt is not spawning, but likely Derg shouldn't be either.
