I agree that state execution is bad. I am against the death penalty because I don't want an innocent person to ever be executed, so I have to be against it in principal. However, almost the entirety of state executions are carried out against people who are absolutely definitely guilty, often by their own admission.

This raises an interesting moral and philosophical question: would you rather a guilty murderer be subjected to a lifetime of prison, and all the misery and rapes which that entails, or be executed?

You know, Jesus was crucified in the stead of a murderer.

kill em all

evidence you kill 1 person, fine, let's investigate - maybe that bitch was cray
evidence you kill 10 people. yeah, expedite it - and let's not take 20 years to do it
treason? like lying about troop numbers to the commander in chief? death
voter fraud? voting twice, falsifying signatures, or allowing criminal intent knowingly to affect your sworn duty? maybe not death but at least 4 years

There’s a pretty decent drama on Netflix I just watched the first season of called Rectify or something like that. I can’t remember, but it’s about some guy who went to prison for murdering his girlfriend when he was like 17 and finally got out because of DNA like 20 years later and it’s pretty creepy it’s definitely not a life that I would like to live.

Murder should be legal and the state shouldn't criminalize it. Imagine if you could die at any second and pvp was enabled. We'd live in such a different world.

Sure progress would have been slower and rich people would have to work harder to keep their wealth. The "states" aka countries would be weaker and big institutions more vulnerable. It would be harder to get things done like installing telecomms. Nice toilets and clean water fountains, but once installed we could kill the people that let their dog use them for their butts.

But I think eventually we would have gotten there, after about 300 more years of slowly learning to cope with individual liberty to such an extreme extent.

I'd definitely be dead, but the world body would be vibrantly alive.

It's in human nature to band to gether tho and control murder through the state or tribe though. So it's a pipe dream.

Other things should still be criminal btw, just not murder.

Cory would likely have been killed by someone for his deeds already. People shouldn't rely on the state to do things for them and do things for themselves.
