what realm tbh? Like I honestly can't be bothered to play Classic anymore, it's just so not fun... like one thing EQ gets right and something they talk about with Pantheon is... it's not just about end-game, it's about the journey. When you're leveling in any iteration of WoW it feels really pointless, but in Classic this is amplified by being 100x more grindy than retail. Nothing about it is fun. The fights don't challenge you. There's no random resists or fizzles. If you can kill a mob once, you can proceed to kill it 1,000 times and it will play out the same every single time. You won't gain any meaningful items or loot the entire time. It just feels like 10 days of pointless grinding so you can go through some really basic raids. At least in P99 the journey to max level is always challenging and exciting (at least for me).

I quit right after SL launch because I want to actually get better and not waste away infront of wow or be 350lb, originally it was bonechewer. I had toons on ravenholdt. Steamweedle. Not the main RP realm but one of the other EST realms has my void elf priestess.

Been thinking of reupping a lot, but they did that whole 60 day subscription thing. And I would need to grind to catch up to raid and M+

Holy main, spriest off spec, almost enjoy those two enough to have two priests active and just focus on each rather than swap traits, etc.

I don't recommend it. Shadowlands is arguably the worst expansion to date, and I think it only has a lifeline at all because of the pandemic and stimulus money. Like... IDK dude. It's the most time-gated thing I've ever seen. Imagine grinding your heart out, only to find out you now have to wait another week so you can do more pointless campaign stuff before being able to advance your ilvl. There's also no real way for PVE'ers to gear up without doing PVP, and you're looking at 2 months of a very serious and very long grind to get optimal pvp gear from battlegrounds (you stand no chance at doing Arenas without fully upgraded honor gear because they got rid of PVP scaling).

The increasing time gatey shit ever since legion really broke me.

They should have stopped at legion. It was good.

Also that time gatey stuff caters to casuals. Who don't actually care about mythic or end game.

Honestly... I don't know? One weird thing about tanks in Classic is like... they dual wield now... which isn't classic, but because of this, they hold aggro a lot better, which allows classes like Warlock to DPS a lot higher than they did in true vanilla since they don't have to worry about threat.

To me it's all been down hill since WoD... I didn't like Legion.. imagine it as a Warrior..
I was prot for my guild, but for years I would do ARMS for PVP. Well for the first 6 months of the expansion I could no longer do PVP because all my points was dumped into my prot artifact, and I dealt no damage in PVP.

This was made worse by the fact that the warrior had the worst looking Artifacts in the game (they literally looked like green items), and Prot was considered the worst tank spec in Legion despite being the hardest to play (On recount my activity level would be like 600 keys pressed per encounter, with the next runner ups being combat rogues, pressing like 200 keys).

Was just a really shitty experience for me. Working my ass off in raids to be subpar, not being able to do any DPS in PVP or off spec.. yeah fuck that.

Then BFA and now Shadowlands..

IDEK what is up with them, and I leveled two characters through the campaign, hehe. I ended up going Night Fae because they spoke to my heart.
