Let's venture to say that natural selection has played a major factor. I am in some way genetically superior, therefore a bad cold virus stands no chance against my immune system.

Anyone who died from covid was weak of genetic constitution and the human species as a whole benefits from their genetics leaving the gene pool.

We could end up with a more robust human species, which is significantly less susceptible to viruses.

Family's and friends torn apart from the polarizing division it caused. Many, many people lost their jobs or were forced into early retirement, and let us not forget the people suffering from health issues due to them, and then the irony of going back to the very people that caused them harm in the first place, then paying them more money to treat the new health problems.


It's just sad all around.

I have never had covid. Is this proof of the vaccines being effective? Precautions? Luck? Genetics?

No, you're just twenty something and think you're invincible. When I was that young, it took getting stabbed in the face and nearly bleeding to death to realize my own mortality.
