Co-worker today was talking about a client he had where the client’s female friend was reporting that the client had shown up at friend’s house and was temporarily staying there

The friend said that she came home to find the client was using the friend’s sex toys. And when the friend asked what the hell she was doing the client asked if the friend could “help finish her off”

I smiled and joked to the co-worker, “you got a phone number for this client? Might need to follow up with this one, she sounds wild”

Then the co-worker said “then the friend told me that after her sex toys smelled like rotten meat”

And I was like “yknow what ima pass on that number”

It's also an issue there is a lack of funding to keep these kinds of ppl locked up FOREVER. Who knows he was septic and delusional and going to die in 24 hours and that's what they are hoping for ! Just to save a little cash !

Also the problem is they will go to the ER against their will and get right out because the hospital can't keep them for whatever reasons legal or otherwise.

It was a sketchy part of town and with the guy being completely naked I’m assuming the cops figured he’s on meth because stimulants raise body temp so people often discard clothes on them

…but what does meth also do? Thrashes the body’s ability to fight infection, worse than any other drug I’ve heard. And that giant abdomen bulge could be an out of control infection that could turn septic

I got the fire department engine # in documentation in case notes. If the guy dies, it’s on them declining to treat him

Someone who doesn't follow the 10 commandments is not an "innocent". They are enemy combatants. And also a direct threat to G-d's creation.

A decent amount of people believe Euthanasia is against G-d's will.

However even attempting to keep someone else alive through the means of force is also likely against G-d's will.

The safest course of action in this scenario is probably making available some form of (safe for others) quick and painless self administrative death. I believe Jesus was special in that he could have healed that man's mind and body with divine authority.

We are not Jesus and not intended to be Jesus.

Reducing someone's pain who is going to die soon no matter what anyway. Shouldn't be considered murder or homicide. So long as that isn't a means to continue enabling the suffering of said individual also. Even IF the side effect of death.

You cannot stop a sinner from sinning. They are only going to do it anyway. Artificially prolonging a life like that out of pride or even just a desire to do good is a form of hatred towards G-d's creation. When the means exist already for that soul to be saved regardless of your interference. Or not.
