80 GPS guided 500 lb JDAMs from 1 airplane that you can't target with radar or infrared, nor can you hear it until it's on top of you.

Nukes don't keep foreign generals awake at night, this does.

Youve already given up once.
But I'm pleased you are trying arch. I may have even suggested it to you at one point. /shrugs
Its perfect for special needs installs. (Thats not being nasty btw).
Arch allows specific modules to be loaded/not loaded to optimize your configuration.
I really liked your breakdown of TCO for a high spec rig to A.I properly.

Sounds like the business model is to allow plebs to use the tokens and they get to scrape data for their own use later.

Kinda like what drug dealers do to get you hooked. But what would I know, I'm just an antipodean heathen.

yeah it's just a weird hardware thing with the desktop, i'm going to switch to different hardware soon, linux installs just always blow up on it for some reason due to the secure boot UEFI prebuilt OEM shit, i'm posting right now from that desktop thats back to win10

this laptop has always had linux on it, when i booted it up recently it was Ubuntu 19.04 then i upgraded it all the way to 24.04 to see if it would even work having to do it in stages, now doing Arch to play and learn with might not even install KDE plasma and just use the cli since this laptop is pretty old

on the desktop side i'm thinking of going to a nearby recycler/reseller for businesses and just buying a old dell/hp server and rack and a workstation to play with and learn about home servers and make it plex server and all that shit, now that i'm not smoking pot daily i have a urge to fuck with retro hardware like its a adhd fidget spinner or something.
