To be clear I run P99 on windows 10 using XP SP2 and still have the crashes sometimes.
My game was mostly stable except I crashed 80% of the time when camping. Compatibility fixed the camping thing but I still get the odd crash every blue moon. It isn't perfect but it is way better than it used to be.

This may not work, but you can try it.

Edit "Launch Titanium.bat" with a text editor to use this set of commands instead of what's in there by default:

cmd.exe /C Start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme

This will make the game run on a single CPU core, which seems to help with stability.

Only downside to doing this is you need to remember to re-apply it whenever a new patch comes out, as Launch Titanium.bat will be overwritten.

the OS and client is whatever

the beige pc case will really tie the elf sim immersion together though
