Food and Drink Testing Since Duration Patch
I tested the rumors about food and drink durations depending on race, class, and zone. I left several level 1 characters idling on Blue, Green, and Red in North Qeynos after replacing the starting food/drink with 2 vendor-bought muffins and milk. After they consumed the last of it, I checked their logs to see when they went low on food/drink (1 piece remaining) and when they ran out.
Results: Food and drink lasts twice as long on monks. Large races do not consume more. Halflings do not consume more. Expansion zones don't seem to make you consume faster. And desert zones don't seem to make you drink faster. There were a few anomalies on food lasting ~45 seconds less than expected. I first experienced this on my level 60 in some expansion zones. Then it happened on a dwarf and troll in North Qeynos. I suspect it may be similar to gaining/losing a heal tick on Torpor/CE, since food/drink checks happen every 45 seconds.
