Pet tracking? Got nerfed at some point. But "Officer tracking"? Yeah, that was a thing.

<mobname>. Since you don't need to have the invitee targeted for it to
work, you can check spawns from the zone line.

I dont know of anyone who ever got in trouble for using this. So I'd probably put it more in the "bug" category unless there's evidence they called it an exploit or punished offenders?


There's also some other interesting stuff in the linked page too about raid NPC spawn rates. Wraith of a Shissar should *depop* when Cazic spawns, and should not be up on server up.

I can't help but wonder if this is the same Dan Harmon who created Community, Krapopolis, and a bunch of other shows.

It's not exactly a common name, and he did create a show called HarmonQuest, so it's certainly possible...

IIRC they took pet tracking out even if it was classic in presumably an effort to curb hate farming among other things. I don't see them implementing any of this.
